Registrations for the 2008 IACO Fall Conference in Chicago, November 24-26, 2008 are being processed, however, registrations are behind last year at this time. 

If you have been meaning to register and have just failed to do so, now would be an excellent time to register.

Thanks to each of these counties for providing me with new or updated photos.  If you held still for Neal Watkins to take your photo at the Conference in Morris, then that photo has been added to our IACC Photo Directory information and I have posted the photo on the website.  Please check to make sure I got your photo on your page.  One of you might be surprised with the photo on the website.  Remember I warned you if you don't supply a new/current photo, this would happen.  If you provided a photo to Carla or I and your are not listed below, please contact me and I will try to locate it.

A Forum Feature has been added to our website at the request of several members.

The Illinois State Treasurer's Office is now allowing ACH Payments for the monthly remittance that each Circuit Court Clerk must submit.  This is done through the banking industry's safe and secure "Automated Clearing House (ACH)  system.  You may download and print the information that has been provided by clicking on the link below.

Please use the information contained in the ACH Form dowload below when sending an ACH payment to the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer.  A hard copy of the Circuit Clerk remittance form is still required for payments submitted using ACH.  The remittance form can be emailed to circuitclerkreport@treasurer.state.il.us, faxed to 217-524-2295 or mailed to the Treasurer’s Office Accounting Division, 300 West Jefferson, Springfield, IL 62702.  Consult with your financial institution on how to originate an ACH payment. 

On Friday, August 22 an open house will be held in honor of Kammy Johnson, Ford County Circuit Court Clerk.  Kammy is leaving the Court Clerk's office August 31, 2008 to work in her late husband's family insurance business. 

On August 22 from 1 - 4 there will be an open house at the Ford County Courthouse to wish her a fond farewell.  All Circuit Clerks are invited.

With the post yesterday for the Byers/Goodin BBQ there has been some confusion.  I had attached a file for each of you to print and FAX to Byers.  Obviously, the attachment did not work.

Jim Maxey of Byers Printing requests that each of you download the form, print it, fill it out and FAX it to his office at 217-787-4319.

If you have previously responded to me via email, would you please re-submit your response to Byers Printing so that they may have an accurate head count for September 8th.
