Circuit Clerk's Blessing

Submitted by John King on Mon, 2007-09-24 14:54.

To each IACC Member,

On behalf of Ellen and I we want to thank you for your participation in the Annual Fall Conference held in Effingham September 12-14, 2007.  We had a record attendance.  We thank you for the many kind words that you have shared with each of us.  Successful conferences don't happen without team work.  Your Board of Officers and Executive Board are a great team.  Our success was due in a great part to their willingness to help when called upon.

At the request of several Clerks, I persuaded Judge John Knight to let me share with each of you a copy of the "Circuit Clerk's Blessing.  I hope that what Judge Knight and Judge Sutton had to say about the work of the Circuit Clerks will help each of you as you do your jobs.

Dear Members,

As of this date, the Hilton Garden Inn, site of the 2007 Fall Conference (September 12-13, 2007) is sold out.  The entire block of rooms has been filled by our members.  This is a good problem, but creates a problem if you have waited until now to register for your rooms at the conference.

If you have not made Hotel reservations yet, the Hotel right next door to the Hilton Garden Inn has rooms available at a rate of $78.  Call the Country Inn and Suites at 217-540-5555.  Tell them you are with the Ill. Assoc. of Circuit Court Clerks and you will get in the block of rooms reserved for September 12 and 13.

I look forward to seeing you next month in Effingham.

Submitted by John King on Tue, 2007-08-14 14:20.

Congratulations to Neal Watkins and Zone 1, they were the first Zone to have all of their counties registered on our website, followed by Debbie Dugan and Zone 3.  Marty Typer and Zone 4 completed their Zone today.

That leaves Zone 2  with 18 of their 23 Counties registered and Zone 5 with 8 of their 13 Counties registered.

Hard work by the Zone Chairs have helped to boost our users.
